DEPECHE MODE – UNIVERSE TOUR 8-4-09

AN AMAZING SHOW!!

Depeche Mode were out in full force last night at Madison Square Garden-thrilling the crowd both young and old with new hits “In Chains” and old hits “Strangelove” playing for 2hr …..with 2 Encores! Lead Singer Dave Gahan drapped in leather vest over a bare chest just looked sexy and happy as hell. Guitarist Martin Gore looked amazing clad in full silver mirrored suit. keyboarded Andy Fletcher sporting his signature sunglasses conducted the show in a svengali-like style. They stunned the crowd with a Light / Video show that was equal parts powerful and intriguing – i stood as a statue in total awe….  The Hallogram 3D effects were hypnotic and inspiring especially to a digital media nerd-freak like myself. Amazing , a-m-a-z-i-n-g show.

Stylist tips…

“I was thrilled to spend the day after the Academy Awards with Chanel celebrity makeup artist, Angela Levin.”

Angela was the mastermind behind some of Oscars’ most beautiful faces… Marion Cotillard’s glamorous goth, Nicole Kidman’s classic elegance andJennifer Aniston’s golden glow! But Angela says all three looks started the same way… with clean, hydrated skin courtesy of Chanel’s Hydramax + Active Moisture Boost Cream. “I feel that when I start makeup with Hydramax then it just lasts longer. It looks transparent, dewy and not greasy. Angela Levin”
